🚤 Blind Sailing Launches “See Sailing Your Way” with RYA Sailability at the 2025 RYA Dinghy Show, and meets up with Sponsors.

Updated: May 13

What a fantastic weekend at the 2025 RYA Dinghy Show! Once again, Blind Sailing was proud to be part of the RYA Sailability Para Hub stand — a vibrant space full of ideas, conversations, and opportunities.

The show is always packed with things to see and do, and this year was no different. It was a brilliant chance to speak with so many people, clubs, and centers about growing inclusion in sailing and what’s next for Blind Sailing.

Lucy took to the stage both days, sharing the launch of our exciting new project See Sailing Your Way, and highlighting the amazing year we’ve had — and the big year ahead. The project, in collaboration with RYA Sailability, focuses on opening new doors across the UK, working with clubs and centers to engage more visually impaired sailors, and training volunteers and coaches to promote inclusive sailing across all levels.

A huge thank you goes to Joff McGill and Hannah Stodel for their continued support — helping us build connections and create more opportunities for 2025 and beyond.

The Dinghy Show was also a great chance to reconnect with our sponsors Rooster and RS Sailing. We were lucky to get a first look at Rooster’s new 2025 kit, try it on, ask questions, and get excited ahead of their online launch.

A massive shout-out to our weekend team — Daryl, Karl, and Felicity — who helped make our stand such a welcoming and engaging place for all who visited. Your passion made a real difference, we hope from this not just the clubs generate support for volunteers but Blind Sailing too.
